POETIC: ROAD IN THE WOOD

Road in the wood! Road in the wood!! Road in the wood!!!

A lone road in the wood. Foot prints and mixed voices
Chanting, we move, we move, and yes we keep moving
We shall march through it length and breath holding hands
Hum it or sing it, all in one direction, a lone road in the wood

Road in the wood! Road in the wood!! Road in the wood!!!
A lone road in the wood. Sharp corners but still smooth
Stories of edible fruits and spring water fountain ahead
And crowd strength. So the voice goes. Keep moving
Gong in their hands so they shout. Ahead, ahead, ahead

Road in the wood! Road in the wood!! Road in the wood!!!
A lone road in the wood. The feeble dropping behind
Though with crowd strength, a lot still in for more push
Not until the lone road splits in 2 and differently diverge each
Time! Men away from boys, soil your hands or keep clean

Road in the wood! Road in the wood!! Road in the wood!!!
Two roads in the wood. Right, left and the straight one
Crowd strength fades, each must chose a path to follow
I chose the one less traveled by, covered in fallen leaves
And that has made the difference. A man must stand
