COVID19 Pandemic Latest Update: Situation In Numbers

It’s already more than 6 weeks since WHO declared COVID-19 a pandemic and despite global effort at curtailing the spread of the disease, the world continues to record increasing surge in the number of cases.

As at 11:55 pm 25th April there are 1182 confirmed cases of COVID19 reported in Nigeria.

Deaths 35
Based on the above update, Nigeria case fatality rate is 2.96%
Of all the confirmed cases only 18.78% have recovered as at 25/04/2020
The aforementioned mortalities in Nigeria calls for inward reflections and all measures must be activated now to very much reduce the mortality and improve recovery
